Power Tools Brand

Porter Cable was founded in 1906 in Syracuse, NY. The brand has been acquired several times over the years; first by Rockwell International, then Pentair (who also owned the Delta brand), and most recently by Black & Decker (2005), who later was purchased by Stanley to form Stanley Black and Decker.
